TGIDF - June 25

RAD Experience held its second Thank God It's Drifting Friday (TGIDF) on June 25 at the Balcony track of Willow Springs International Raceway at Rosamond California.

There were the usual drivers and there were also new drivers that have great skills and potential as well. But this night, 240s dominated the track but there were also 350zs, FC, Q45, Corollas, an S2k and a Miata that showed up.

The event started 6pm and drifters were given the maximum track time as there was no gymkhana group for the night. Here are some of the pictures from the event.

Next RAD Experience's T.G.I.D.F. is on July 9, 2010. Friday and starts at 6pm, Balcony racetrack of Willow Springs International Raceway. See you guys there.

Tunder on the Lot Drifting Demo

R.A.D. Experience was invited to do a drifting demo for the 16th Annual Thunder on the Lot at the AV Fairgrounds Lancaster CA on June 13, 2010. 

We did not expect that media will be there to cover the event. Todd McCarty took pictures while the Time Warner Cable news crew took a footage of the demo and was aired on June 14, 2010.

We had the opportunity to do single runs and several tandem runs including 11 car tandem (click for 11 car tandem video).

Special thanks to Mikki Frial, Thunder on the Lot drifting organizer, and Jason Sieroty, events manger, for organizing the event. Ron Emard, Antelope Valley Fairgrounds president and promoter, for providing a rad location. All the drivers that drove and put out an awesome show. And most of all the spectators whom without them its just another drift event.

Thunder on the Lot Drifting Demo

Food, music, a car and motorcycle show and lots of drifting that’s the best way I can summarize this weekend.

We at RAD Experience are very fortunate to be invited to run on the first drifting demo for Antelope Valley Fairgrounds 16^th Annual Thunder on the Lot on June 12 and 13, 2010.

TGIDF - June 11

RAD Experience held its first T.G.I.D.F. (Thank God It's Drifting Friday) on June 11, 2010 at Willow Springs International Raceway at the Balcony racetrack.

The event started 6:00pm but the San Diego guys were one of the early birds. By 7:00pm the DJ started his beat.

And by 10:00pm, Gymkhana did their stuff.

The event wrapped up 11pm. The drivers and alot of the spectators had fun drifting and doing the gymkhana. Until our next TGIDF, see you on June 26, same time same place!
